    • Piazza San Marco

      Bulgari

Piazza San Marco in Venice was recreated in Tokyo as the stage for Venetian carnival. Two walls of the square-shaped space were entirely covered with venetian mirrors which gave the illusion of the space being quadrupled; to form a piazza. Surrounded by scenes of Palazzo Ducale, painted in trompe L’oeil, guests of Bulgari seated in the aligned dining tables, while dancers from Cirque de Soleil from Montreal flew in to start the carnival. Dancers in gem-colour costumes in emerald, sapphire and diamond tones, hopped around the aisles in between the long tables, telling how these colour of gem stones were in line with medieval age Venice.
