Philippe Ramette, known for his gravity-defying bronze sculpture in human form, used the garden of the French Institute in Tokyo as his most recent exhibition space. Human figures lying weightlessly in the air with just the support of a rope caught the attention of passing visitors and students, and even raised the eyebrows of people familiar with the conceptual French artist.
